How different 2008 is feeling from 2007! There has been a period of stillness and slowness these first months of the year, a feeling of waiting, pausing and allowing before we move into the fullness that seems to be awaiting us in the coming months. For some this has felt like being stuck, or that there is no forward movement. Yet there is a need, on a personal and planetary level, for times of stillness, times of integration. We cannot sustain forward movement 100% of the time and require slower, quieter periods to allow what we have learned and experienced to filter through on all levels of our being.

I have found this year so far to be a time of great reflection, as if the universe is really asking me ‘What do you TRULY want? Get clear; for all that you want is yours, so make sure it is what you really want!’

I have also noticed for myself and my clients that old patterns and ways of being are coming up for review. One of the main themes emerging is that of struggle and learning to let go of it. There is a clarity and a lightness about the energies of 2008 that enables much more flow and synchronicity and ease; that is, if we are ready to drop the struggle and embrace the flow.

For Colourworks this is an exciting time, with new initiatives being developed by Moira and Melissie; a visit by Melissie to the UK; and further development of the work on colour combinations which Melissie and I will be working on while she is in the UK, with a view to having a workshop ready to offer later in the year.

I wish you a wondrous peaceful spring or autumn (depending on where you are in the world!) and look forward to seeing how the year unfolds………

New Colourworks Teachers

We are delighted to welcome several new teachers who have completed their training in recent months.

In November 2007 a wonderful group came together with Korani in Farnham, Dorset, to share and learn together. Suzi Crawford, Elska Withers-Lancashire, Adele Robertson, Sharon Whitehead, Wendy Ellaway and Rhada (Trish) Andrews spent 5 days intensively exploring their journeys through the light of colour.

Alison Braid from England, Michelle Connor from Scotland and Patti Bradshaw from Canada trained with Moira Bush during 2007. Patti will be the Colourworks representative and support centre for training and products in Canada, based in Calgary.

                      

The next generation of Colourworks is taking flight as Jeannette Kitching who did the Teacher's course with Amanda Bradbury last September ran her first Colour 1 and 2 courses recently. She trained Josephine Chatterton-Pratt and Jeannette said: "It's really an honour to be able to teach a system like Colourworks." Alison Braid, who trained as a Teacher with Moira recently has also already offered her first course. The light of colour is spreading fast!

G8 - Stories of Illumination

In September 2007 the darkest bottle of the range was born – G8, rich, deepest magenta, so dark it appears black. Since then we have been astounded at the stories we have received from around the world about this bottle. Here we share some of them with you.

June, Scotland:

Melissie felt that Chinese New Year (7 February) would be my fresh start so I held onto G8 for my new beginnings bath on that night. It was quite a ritual.

My new business name is Avalon Light and I feel a deep connection to Merlin and the Goddess energy. As I ran the bath and poured G8 into the water, I immediately saw flying dragons through misty skies, like going back to Rosslyn! When I went back into the bathroom the water had changed from violet to bright turquoise! What happened?? There was a little dark violet around the edges but it was the most beautiful bright turquoise I have ever seen.

As soon as I got into the bath I was in a dark, deep, warm cave... then Merlin appeared. I was given instructions on a scroll, then I left the cave and found myself connecting in with Archangel Michael who cut cords for me. Once that was done it was straight to my physical body and I had to ask for help in losing weight and any addictions I had, be that to money, shopping, material things, food, alcohol etc. It was as if I had to purge myself clean. It was a very ritualistic bath... I’ve never felt this before. I was asked to let go of the water and bless the drains with it here to help this area. After the bath I felt warm, silky and safe, and connected to my roots.

Michelle, England:

Last week I was showing bottles to a friend and G8 slipped out of my hand and smashed on the floor. I took it to be bad luck. A few nights later I decided to bathe in a bottle and picked up my other G8. It also slipped out of my hand but this time the lid cracked and some of the oil leaked out. I took the hint this time and took it in the shower with me.

At first I was quite calm, it was a lovely deep violet colour, but when I looked at my hands I felt very uncomfortable. They had turned a colour I did not like, and it was a few minutes before I realised why. My hands were the colour of my Granda’s hands when he died. My hands looked like I was a corpse. As I continued the colour of the oil turned indigo. It was like I had the death with the violet, and the spirit was realised in the indigo. I got the message that it’s not the small stuff that I should be thinking about, but the stuff in spirit that is more important. I also realised this had happened to me many times before - death and realisation of the spirit; and this time it gave me the opportunity for rebirth while still alive. I asked for my spirit and soul to be refreshed and thanked God for this opportunity.

I am aware that G8 provides support when going from one vibration to another. This experience I truly felt as a death event – which ultimately is going from one vibration to another. It is one special bottle!!!

Marinda and Rene, South Africa:

Melissie recently had a phone call from Marinda and Rene in Johannesburg who had both bathed in G8 the previous night. They teach together, and when they compared notes on the bath experiences they both said their bottle had left them a picture in the bath. They then both at the same time said "Not sure if it was a leaf or a feather". So they each drew how it looked and it was the same picture….

Canadian Colourworks

The journey of Colourworks to Canada has been blessed with the magic of G8. While unpacking a box of colour bottles and essences I found a broken bottle, G8. Every bottle in the box had been bathed in G8. My disappointment on discovering the broken bottle soon turned to joy. As I was unpacking each carefully wrapped bottle and wiping them with a white cloth each bottle revealed a different colour on the cloth. By the time I had washed a few bottles the cloth looked like I had dyed it all the colours of the rainbow. As I reflect on that day of seeing the magenta turn to rainbow colours I had the sense within this dark colour that it had absorbed all the colours. With the G8 bottle it feels that from out of the darkness our true colours are revealed. It is my experience of journeying through the dark night of the soul that when this passes, gifts are revealed. G8 represents the inner journey of going deep within to emerge with new found gifts and new possibilities. Since that day I no longer fear the darkness of being on earth but feel a sense of anticipation and joy in the creative potential that is available to all of us. I feel this has been a wonderful beginning to birthing Colourworks in Canada, one of the most peaceful and gentle places on earth.

Francey’s Story

Francey was two years old when she was diagnosed with Nephroblastoma in both kidneys. At that time she received chemotherapy, Reiki and therapeutic aromatherapy and went into remission. Six years later the cancer was back in one kidney. She again received chemotherapy as well as Bodytalk therapy, homeopathy, reflexology and later radiation when despite a couple of mini remissions, the cancer was found to have spread into her spine with further very fast growing tumours in her pelvic region.

A few weeks before Francey died, a friend kindly offered to lend the Colourworks bottles to Francey. The family set them up on a table in her room and they had a hugely beneficial effect on everyone who walked into that space for the month or so that they were there. As you can imagine, the dying process of a child is not an easy one to accept or be part of and people would come in and select a bottle and just sit with it for a while. Francey’s surgeon was so taken with the bottles that he told his wife about them and she came also to visit Francey and experience the bottles.

Francey and her immediate family would select a bottle whenever they felt the need and were comforted by how incredibly accurate the bottles were in reflecting what was needed at that time. On the day before Francey died she said to her mum that she would like an orange bottle. Her mum selected all the orange combinations and Francey went straight to bottle 27 and said to her mother “It is time now, it is my time now.” And if you read the words of this bottle, that is exactly what it says:

The Sceptre (Bottle 27) is the symbol of royalty, power and wholeness. It blesses the individual with courage and promises huge karmic rewards gained through several lifetimes. As you have sown in the most positive sense you will now bring in the harvest. You and your higher self are becoming one and you are co-creating a magical reality. 27 reduces to 9 and relates to Mars. Use your power and energy wisely. Orange is the colour of bliss and enlightenment. This is your time.

Gold Mine

Gold. God with an L for love in it. The colour that surrounds the solar plexus and the colour for halos. This is where we find our absolute true connection to the source. Interesting if we think about the abuses that have occurred on this planet for the actual possession of gold. And all that the physical substance of gold can give us is what we have created in a misinterpretation of the thing we were actually looking for. Which was heaven on earth...

All the time what we were looking for was not kept in the depths of the earth waiting to be mined, but in the depths of ourselves, waiting to be mined. And waiting, to be claimed as MINE.

I am what I am is the only thing I really possess and when I have that totally integrated in my cells, that is all I ever will need as then the gold inside will be perfectly mined.

Gold is true authentic power - the power that claims our divinity and once that is in place, nothing else is needed as we have claimed our connection with the Creator. And as we are that, we are therefore as creative as our source, and manifestation is so completely our only right and our biggest possibility. Creation never stops and once we are connected to that energy we are also asked not ever to stop. Well, we cannot really, as that is the force that creates everything. So look with great keenness of vision at your life. You have created everything in it. You did that... All of it. So now in the gold you can do it consciously. It is your only job.

In the gold we hold our authentic power and also the fear of the loss of power. It also is the colour that reminds us of the abuse of power when it is not the real thing. Every bit of abuse happened because of the loss of the connection in the gold. Interesting that it sits where the connection that was the life force pre-birth (the umbilicus) was, and reminds us that in this area is also our connection to what keeps us alive now.

Our connection to the Divine is as much what we must have as our connection to our mother was necessary pre-birth. It is only when this golden energy centre is balanced that our lives have any real value. The gold is very hard to mine and then has to be melted and treated before its value really appears. So often, to access the gold within, we also have to go through huge painful processes but always at the end of the process we can claim more of our true value and live our lives from a point of true power.

The complementary to the gold is indigo and it is interesting that the Egyptians used equal amounts of lapis lazuli and gold in their headdresses. Maybe it was to remind them that to access the power in the gold in an authentic way, they had to connect with the darkness of the indigo in the third eye and go inside where the true gold was. It was a message not to abuse the golden power but to retain the inner truth and make the power authentic and connected to the Divine self, not the outer self.

The path of the mystic will take you through the indigo into the gold and it seems that is the only way to get there. Bottle 23 says that the initiation is successfully completed and that means that finally we have struck gold and the rest of the journey can be joyous and powerful, on track, on purpose, and deeply connected to the Divine. C11 says that enough pink has been added to the yellow in the solar plexus to make it a rich gold - the opposite of fear and confusion. Enough love to create the potential for a golden age. Ascension finally, which is just another way of saying "heaven on earth”.

2008: Beyond Separation

This year promised to be about new beginnings. Instead of new things happening for myself and many of my clients, old faces and organisations from the past are showing themselves, this time not for healing, but for new reflection.

The ‘thing’ I teach is to go beyond separation, that all is one divine spark of God’s creation, yet I have failed to do just that, isolating myself in places and within spiritual communities and spiritual groups for many years. Spiritual healers have been treated as ‘bells on toes’ and not taken seriously and yes, that has played its role in the Separation, therefore I, like many others, have preferred to come out when we felt safe – at Mind Body Spirit fairs, Alternative practices and within the groups we have formed.

Colourworks is about bringing Heaven and Earth together, the spiritually aware getting grounded (material consciousness and responsibility) and the materialistic getting in touch with their spiritual selves. The Spirit is violet and the Material is red – red and violet together make magenta. Magenta is a bridge that can bring the two worlds/realities together. The bottle for this year is G8, Deep Magenta that almost looks black and is an indicator that the time is finally here, the bridge is being built.

I am realising that we need no longer wait for people to find us in the spiritual environments we have created, the time has come for some of us to re-enter the world of the material and walk that energy of who we have become into those places. It is about who we are and not what we do. As I personally begin to re-integrate my spiritual self and my material world, I realise that there is a new beginning beyond anything I have imagined. It has its challenges; for one we have to invent a new language - a language that bridges the terminology that sometimes adds to Separation. Diana Cooper teamed up with her son-in-law Greg Suart who is a businessman and created a set of cards called ‘Wisdom Cards’ especially for people at work, for daily insights towards personal mastery. The language she uses is perfect, so that both the spiritual and material viewpoint is shared as the same thing. (See reviews below for more information about the cards).

Melissie and I are looking at ways to develop Colourworks further so that it is accessible to other markets and not just about practitioner learning. We intend to develop colour courses which we can use as a tool for personal and organisational transformation. We will keep teachers informed with progress.

Metatronic Healing Level Two

December 2007 and January 2008 saw the first workshops in Metatronic Healing™ at Level Two: it’s amazing to watch as the process unfolds before us. It raises the question, “What is Metatronic Healing™?” It is so many things, but perhaps above all, at its core, it is a process that reconnects us with our true, unconditionally loving natures. And it raises the question, “What is Metatronic Healing Not™?” One of the answers that has come up is that it is not a licence to bypass the stories that each of us has chosen for our personal and spiritual growth. We shall hang on to each story, come what may, until the time comes that we have integrated whatever it is that it has to teach – and then through this divine gift of healing we are given the tools to let it go with grace and peace.

So, Level Two turned out to be powerful stuff. Nine Transmissions of divine energy, many of which had a metallic essence in their nature, emerged as a download of light which brought further "stuff" to the surface for some. And then, a couple of beautiful days of integration in January brought the restorative and strengthening qualities of these energies thoroughly to ground as we began the exciting next steps of this wonderful process, channelling the Metatron rays individually for specific uses.

There is still plenty more to do: new modules are being developed for Metatronics as we all begin to discover what a deep and wide-reaching healing system we've been given. We shall address the issues of Past Life Clearance in such a way that as therapists we are best prepared to hold our clients in a safe and loving space. We shall explore the real fears that the ego holds to keep us tightly bound into issues of survival: the mother, the money, the weight – and we shall release them. We shall go deep into the family tree, healing our ancestors and our children. We shall connect with the angels at higher and deeper levels. It is deeply freeing and restoring, this process: all of us who are involved feel the deepest gratitude to Metatron, Sandalphon and the Heavenly Host for their loving support.

Metatronic Magic

It’s been a great privilege to work with Metatronic Healing™ since its outset, bringing powerful transformative healing to my clients and to me.

Last October Natalie contacted me to see if I could help her mother in Israel who had ovarian cancer. Chemotherapy had become ineffective and had been stopped. Regular blood tests showed deterioration of the condition resulting in the whole family living with uncertainty and dread. I saw Luda on her visit to the UK and used a combination of Colourworks and Metatronic Healing™. That evening an email revealed that those present, Natalie and her father also felt as if they had received treatment. “We feel as if you have given her 6 more months of life to enjoy and appreciate! Metatronics and colour: Be prepared to be amazed!

Manifestation Message from Sandalphon

During a workshop in Slovenia, Archangel Sandalphon appeared as we were discussing manifestation and the information on ‘The Secret’ DVD. In the Metatronic Healing™ system, Sandalphon represents grounding and the material world in gold colour. We asked why some people were having difficulty using visualisation to manifest their needs as instructed on ‘The Secret’. He replied using an analogy:

“If you want to build a centre of healing, you stare at the spot where you want to build and think you could never dig the foundation yourself because by the time you have one layer dug up, the rain or wind might come and you have to start all over again.

How about beginning to dig the foundation anyway? Later in the day while digging, a truck passes with labourers who stop to ask what you are doing. You reply: I am digging a foundation for a healing centre. They admire your efforts and ask if they could help to finish the digging with you. By the end of the day the digging is done. Next morning you stare at the hole thinking I don’t have enough money for all the cement needed to lay the foundation.

How about buying just one bag and beginning the task in one corner. As you finish laying that one corner, a truck pulls up and the driver asks what you are doing. You reply: I am laying the foundation of a healing centre. The driver says he has left over cement from a job in his truck and needs to dump it; you can have the load. By the end of the day the foundation floor is laid. Next morning you stare at the floor thinking I don’t have enough money for all the bricks for the walls.

How about laying just the bricks you can afford. As you begin laying the bricks, yes, you guessed it, a truck with bricks pulls up and the driver asks you what you are doing. Soon your centre is built because of three things: continuous faith, action and commitment.”

Faith and visualising builds your desires in the etheric. To bring them down into the material world, we need to show commitment and take action. The commitment says: I am serious about this and trust it will happen for me. The action is physical energy, once physical energy begins to flow, support can catch onto the threads of energy - hook in, expand, speed up and steer it towards your goal so that your dreams manifest into even more than you dared believe possible.

Sandalphon finished the message by saying: “Guess who is driving those trucks? Me, of course!”

Earth Wisdom

Mars is moving through Cancer again, suggesting that we place our energy on caring, compassion and healing. This is a gentle influence over the next couple of months.

The dance that Chiron and Neptune are making together in Aquarius is about healing through artistic and creative ventures and brings a reminder that the secret of healing is about acceptance, forgiveness and compassion for ourselves as well as others.

Saturn’s journey through Virgo is about the scrutiny of people, projects and situations. This is about taking things step by step and is a down-to-earth, practical influence.

Both Jupiter and Pluto are travelling through Capricorn. Realism can lead to steady progress at this time. The sign of Capricorn is about mastery and activating our spiritual purpose. As always this will work best for us if we focus on creativity and joy and allow our gift to flow freely as a result of this. Our gift or spiritual purpose is literally about giving and it skews the energy to always put the focus on what we can gain.

The creative link between Jupiter and Uranus that is a theme for 2008 represents the out-of-the-blue opportunities that can come to us through patience and steady application.

If I had to connect the planetary energy at this time to a Colourworks bottle I would be drawn to G5, Earth Wisdom, gold above copper. There is a strong emphasis on earth signs at this time, so the grounding influence of the copper is helpful. The gold in the top fraction is about becoming conscious of the alchemy that is taking place within us, of discovering something of immense value. The copper in the unconscious section shows us how to ground that wisdom and it is through adopting a realistic, practical approach. If we each put our spiritual purpose first and make that accessible on a wide scale then we can bring heaven to earth.

The Power of Podcasts - a Totally Turquoise Experience

There are so many ways to teach, learn and share information these days. One way to share your message is through Podcasts. Podcasts are free, educational and entertaining audio programs found through the iTunes music store. You can enjoy programs on any topic from Astrology to Angels to Astrophysics.

My husband and I are enthusiastic Astrologers, international teachers and healers living on Big Island, Hawaii. “Small World, Big Island” is a common phrase here. After a few years of come and go travel from the islands, we decided to expand our business from our nurturing island home. Through contemplation, creativity and a computer upgrade, our Podcast, The Gemini Awakening Astrology Show, was born!

Perhaps you would like to create a Podcast of your own? Podcasts are a great way for you to stay in touch with your current clients, and connect with many new people. First, do your research. iTunes offers online tutorials on technical equipment and sharing content. The microphone company we choose is actually called BLUE (any coincidence for throat chakra and communication?!!) We record and edit the program in Apple’s Garageband sound program. If you own a PC, then you’ll find comparable Podcast programs in an internet search. Finally, we painted our studio room turquoise, clearly setting our intention to share our message of the heart to many! Learn more turquoise technology details here:

The right equipment is only the first step in having a quality Podcast. Next is how you share your content. We found consistent segments with a clear outline is our springboard. Then, before recording, we align our intentions with deep breaths and quiet eye-gazing. By the time we hit the record button, we get out of the way and allow ourselves to be guided as the information flows through us.

Once you have the right equipment and creative content, it’s time to get the word out! Encourage friends and clients to directly download your program from iTunes or your website. Then request that your listeners share comments on your iTunes page; their feedback increases your rating, and eventually more people find you.

Wisdom Cards by Diana Cooper & Greg Stuart

For this review I picked a card from the pack:

OPPORTUNITY: When the time is right and you are prepared to act with courage, fortune awaits you. Picking this card signifies that a situation is now turning in your favour. Be watchful and alert, ready to grasp the opportunity that is about to present itself. Choose wisely for there may be more than one option. Then go with the flow. Of course you can use strength and energy to struggle against the current but Wisdom guides you to seize a chance today for it will lead effortlessly to greater things. Affirmation: I Am Alert to Opportunities.

Diana is well known for her spiritual and angelic work. Her son-in-law Greg is an international businessman specialising in coaching businesses. Together they have created a pack of cards that uses a language that is accessible at all levels of spiritual understanding. The packaging is clever: you flip it open and the outer box becomes the stand, so that the card you choose looks at you all day. On the back of the box is written:

“Everything happens for a reason and when you choose a Wisdom Card the universe speaks through it to offer you guidance, expanded perspective and support.”

I highly recommend these cards as a lovely example of how to bridge different levels of spiritual awareness through carefully thought-out use of language.

The Game of Life and How to Play by Florence Scovel –Shinn

This little gem was originally printed in 1925 when the author taught metaphysics alongside being an artist in New York. This work is the forerunner of many positive affirmation and Law of Attraction books written today.  Easy to dip in to, the book’s affirmations are simple and very effective as they capture the magical energy around at a time when Dr Edward Bach and other metaphysicians were synchronistically emerging.  Highly recommended.
