In this issue read about:

From the Editor
Erica Connolly

Earlier this year Melissie and I began an email conversation about various combinations of colours. We started playing with combinations that are not included in the Colourworks set such as magenta and orange, copper and yellow, violet and coral. It seemed somehow that there was much information to be accessed from these combinations and it became clear that we needed to take a thorough look at this. Given that we were both so inspired we decided to meet in South Africa in September and begin the process.

I had hardly arrived before the work began. And for seven days we flooded ourselves with colour combinations. There was something unstoppable about this work that meant we rarely paused until we felt as though it was done – or at least this initial part of it. We literally began with No. 1, the yellow Sun bottle and sat it next to No. 2, the blue Moon bottle. And then put it next to No. 3, the coral-coloured Jupiter, and then the green Mercury No. 5…. And so it went.

Each morning we sat and faced the day’s colours. As we sat with them, information began to come through. What happened of course was that our bodies registered the impact of the combinations before our minds did. So sometimes we would have a deep and instinctive dislike of a combination though we did not always know why. As we explored it further the body’s response would begin to make sense. And over a period of time – sometimes very quickly – we seemed to literally ‘process’ the information so that it ceased to disturb us. Other combinations illicited an immediate ‘Yum!’ exclamation from either or both of us. And again we would explore what sat within that combination. Much information about past life connections came through the colour combinations as did patterns of relationship and behaviour.

I am now in the process of transcribing all the conversations we had about the combinations and this work will become available to practitioners at some point in 2008. It is likely to be the foundation of a new 2-day workshop so we will keep you posted as it develops.

It seems there is always so much more to unfold the deeper we go into this wondrous system. For me personally it was a huge blessing to spend time with Melissie and to utterly immerse myself in all that Colourworks has to offer. I hope you will enjoy reading about the exciting developments and experiences arising as we progress on our journey with colour. Many thanks to all who have contributed articles to this issue.

Blessings
Erica

New Colourworks Teachers Across the Globe
Greek Teachers Slovenian Teachers Korean Teachers

There is an ever-growing group of committed Colourworks teachers around the world and it is exciting to think that Colourworks is now truly global.

Amanda Bradbury recently ran a Teachers training workshop in Devon, England and we welcome Christine Morris, Jeannette Kitching, Susan Kitching and Bump (due to be born any day now) to the Colourworks family of teachers. Amanda said the workshop was “full of light and magic”!

Maria-Regina Hadjimina and Dimitra Pappa hosted Amanda beautifully in Athens and she was delighted to have a hotel room that overlooked the temple of Jupiter. Regina said she knew there was a message in the fact that the Jupiter bottle spilled its contents in Dimitra’s parcel a few weeks before the course…We also welcome Regina and Dimitra and the depth and insight that the connection with Greece brings to Colourworks.

Three new teachers were trained in Slovenia during October by Moira Bush. Barbara Piskur is the Colourworks representative for both Slovenia and Croatia and now qualified to present Colour 1 and 2 courses and she already has a waiting list of students. Dr Milena Plut-Podvrjic runs a healing and teaching practice and will incorporate Colourworks into her work. Rozina Lesjak specialises in one-to-one healing and teaching. Welcome to you all and many thanks to Barbara for all your organising.

In August Stanford and Colourworks were honoured to have a group from Korea to come and do the teachers workshop. Melissie says the group were the most delightful people brought by Premjay and Ananya who run the Inner guide Studio. We welcome the new Teachers, Kim Gyn Ree, Moon Jang Eun, Kim Ok Ki, Lee Hai Kyung, Chung Mi Ju (who will be the translater for the next trip?) And we thank Premjay and Ananya, our beautiful friends, for bringing the group.

Colour Combinations – Yellow and Green
Erica Connolly

As I began transcribing the conversations Melissie and I had in South Africa this combination jumped out at me as we seemed to come back to it again and again during the course of our time together. We decided to share it in the newsletter to give you a taste of the power of the combinations.

We are taught in Colour 1 that yellow and green together represent a Cathar lifetime. The Cathars were a group of highly spiritual and highly wealthy people who lived in France in the 17th century, had a female pope and were able to manifest and make gold. The Inquisitions put paid to all that by wiping them out and taking the gold…so anyone who ‘remembers’ this lifetime, consciously or in their cells, just might have an issue or two about being spiritual and wealthy…..

What follows below is a verbatim account of our conversation.

Yellow and Green
Bottle 1 (The Sun) + Bottle 5 (Mercury)

The Sun Mercury

E If they’ve had a Cathar lifetime they have known very deeply in their cells what it feels like to be wealthy and spiritual at the same time.

M The ones who transcended that don’t come in with any of this issue. Years ago Lazarus said nobody has to get used to being rich, we all kind of feel that would be the natural state. If you suddenly lose your money there’s a massive sense of “unfair, shouldn’t have happened, I was supposed to have it all and now I suddenly don’t” so there’s a big shock. So if they had had it all, lost it all and then stayed in that victimy-shocked state this would be the stuff they’re still dealing with.

(Putting the complementary colours out – red and violet):

E And it sits in the red (financial issues), and also the violet because that’s the spirit – I was spiritual and look what happened to me.

M And God owes me, because he’s guilty….as you put the red and violet together and make magenta (chuckling).

M It’s so horrible to look at. I don’t see those often. But I mean 28 and 25 I see often and it’s the same stuff, and even 4. Here it is big-screen stuff, you can’t skip over it if it looks like that, that’s also why our bodies are taking the strain. So if somebody presents with that it says now it’s a big deal, and I need to look at that and find out and maybe deal with it. And so are we then looking at a releasing statement for bottle 5? The green for me is just – I was going to say heartbreak – but it’s the boundary stuff, but I suppose the heartbreak is what lies at the base of the boundary stuff. So do we need a releasing statement for this? The green is “I release the need to walk around with a broken heart. I release the need for financial chaos and self sabotage.”

E Is it also the whole thing about not being spiritual and wealthy?

M Yes, so it’s like “I embrace the ability to be spiritual and wealthy” – it’s not a releasing statement, it’s an affirmation.

E The times I have seen this combination it has been absolutely that.

M For me it would be, “I release the need to hate these colours to the point of vomiting” (laughter)

E What makes you feel safe with this, what would clear this?

M I need to not have them together….(places them apart and puts No. 6 – pink - in the middle).

E So you bring the love in straight away - 1+5 = 6. So in effect that is the antidote to those two, this (yellow and green) is the poison and that (pink) is the antidote, the love.

M But its also so much self-love in that bottle (pink) and when you do that (puts yellow and pink together) you’ve got coral so there’s the unconditional self-acceptance.

E If you put 6 in the middle of 1+5, is that cope-able with?

M Yes. (Picks up bottle 15 which is olive green). What’s interesting is that this is very easy for me, I love this bottle, this is my constitutional healing. When everything is out of control that puts me back together again, whereas that is….OK I’ve just………how clever are we; 1+5 = 15.

E So as soon as you did that, these two don’t make you feel sick any more. But if 1+5 =15 and the 15 you love, and the 1+5 are so challenging, is it something about the pulling apart of the colours because 15 as a whole makes you feel great and puts you back together but when you split it into its constituent parts which is 1and 5 you feel all over the place. Is there something about the fact that this pulls out all your feminine power?

M Ohhhhh, yes. That was clearly a female lifetime and remember they had a female pope and they were embracing female power and all of that got undone on every level.

E And therefore it wasn’t only unsafe to be spiritual and wealthy it was unsafe to be female, full stop….

In a footnote to this conversation we subsequently realised that this has to be why green and yellow are the Cathar lifetime colours. When you put these two together they make olive green, the colour of feminine power.

Illumination
Birth of G8
Melissie Jolly

Illumination

Erica came to South Africa to stay with me with the intention of exploring the information on combinations of colours and what they mean. As we worked with the combinations we also looked at the complementary colours, so as we looked at yellow and green we also looked at violet and red as the opposites of the yellow and green.

When we got to C9, the clear (white) bottle, there was obviously not a bottle in existence to show the black complement to the clear and just so we could see the difference I made a really deep dark magenta bottle - very nearly totally black. It was quite uncomfortable for me to look at but to my amazement everyone who saw it immediately picked it up, felt it really buzzing energetically and wanted one. Before the first day was over I had to make three more. Everyone who took one wanted to bath in it immediately and so we got instant feedback.

It seems that it really works on family blood-line issues. It also loudly proclaimed that we see our bodies as the "dark side". In other words, everything that God is not. Not light, not all powerful, but heavy and difficult and definitely not in bliss. But the interesting thing was that it seemed to work really quickly in creating clarity. Like homeopathy it seemed to work in a ‘like cures like’ manner that was quite amazing. It cleared self hatred at a deep level. One person said that it not just made it OK to be in a body, but brought a whole lot of self acceptance of her personality as well. Everything about her was OK after that strange black bath.

My son David, who wears all colours as long as they are black, had a bath in it and said that he loved that if the light shone through it, it was deep magenta/red and when he poured it in the bath it made the water blue. He seems to have manifested a whole bunch of good stuff subsequently. Another person who used it has cleared old family issues that had gone on for generations. It brings the shadow into the light and allows it to be dealt with.

This bottle would have to fit into the system as a Gaia bottle and so would be G8. Eight is the number of power and abundance. The darkness is the void from which everything is created. It is Ain Sof which is the void from which the Tree of Life was grown. This is the place of potential where all dreams, ideas and possibilities exist. One needs courage to go into one’s own shadow, but until you do you will never find the jewels that are hidden in your heart of darkness. The name of G8 is Illumination. In one of the Egyptian Initiations the potential initiate had to go into a series of pitch dark underground caves and tunnels and find his way by trusting his inner light. If he allowed any darkness into his mind he would never find his way out and die there. This bottle is all about an initiation that will create mastery through deeply exploring and facing the shadow and coming out the other side reborn into the light without fear.

Feature Colour: Magenta
Erica Connolly

Lion Muzzled Clenched Fist Submission and Caution Higher Crown Chakra

Another theme that came up again and again during my stay in South Africa was magenta. My birth number is 22 but it’s a bottle I have tended to shy away from. Given the rather forbidding title of ‘Submission and Caution’, and its deep dark magenta top fraction, I have not always felt completely easy around this bottle. So while in SA I felt it would be a good time to take the plunge, so to speak. We talked about Melissie’s huge experience after bathing in bottle 22, which she wrote about in Issue 6 of the newsletter and how she was able to let go of lifetimes of feeling guilty, by letting go of the need to blame God and to blame herself. When the blame goes, so does the judgement. When the judgement goes, so does the guilt.

So I bathed in bottle 22 and spent a hideous half-hour of self-judgement and disgust at life on planet Earth. I was left feeling rather taken apart than put together, but I trusted it would reveal its true message to me in time. And within a couple of days it did. I woke one morning to a crystal clear revelation that we all judge, all the time. And that all that judgement is just an illusion that keeps us trapped in our self-righteousness and our self-hatred and our intolerance. What if, as Melissie keeps saying, it really is all perfect?? What if it is all exactly as it is meant to be?? What then is there to judge or to blame? What then is there to feel guilty for? What then is there to blame God for? NOTHING!! It is a concept I had been aware of ever since I began working with Colourworks but it took bottle 22 to let me really get it. Or rather it took my acceptance of the magenta energy on a cellular level to show me the truth. In an interesting development, we realised through this experience that bottle 22 can no longer be called Submission and Caution, but needs to be Forgiveness. For that is its essence.

Metatron of course resonates with magenta and his energy is so powerfully with us at this time that it seems magenta is the lesson we all need reminding of right now. Magenta is divine love. It says you are perfect and loved exactly for who you are. Not for what you do or say or show to the world but just for being, for existing. It holds the key to all issues around lack of self-worth and self-belief and those deeply ingrained beliefs we hold about original sin.

The new bottle, G8, is also magenta. It looks black and to all intents and purposes is black, yet the cosmic joke really is that the black, the darkness, is actually divine love……

This poem appeared in my inbox just a day or so after I had written the article above.

Watch closely now...

Wait...

It's really Magenta in there

Olive Complements
Elizabeth Morgan

Elizabeth Morgan

Colours always come in complements. Black defines white and vice versa. Green and red are opposites as are blue and orange. So anyone working closely with magenta should consider its complementary, olive. People often consider olive boring. “Olive drab” is the phrase too often used to describe this dynamic blending of green with yellow. Olive deserves a fresh perspective.

If magenta teaches trust in divinity, source and your true nature, olive helps you take action from that sense of divine empowerment. Colour therapy will often refer to olive as representing feminine wisdom, power and intuition, but those are qualities available to members of either gender. The “feminine” referred to is energy grounded in one’s heart connection whereas “masculine” energy tends to be intellectual or action oriented. The heart is the doorway to the soul and our intuitive connection. The mind is a brilliant organic computer but because it can get caught up in ego and fear, it can lead one astray. The heart always knows the truth but it is quiet and often ignored. Green is the colour of the heart chakra. Olive lies between the heart and the yellow of the solar plexus so olive represents power tempered by the heart’s wisdom. It is compassionate yet knows when to take a stand. Sometimes setting a firm boundary is the best way to express love for both oneself and others.

As we release that which drains us or what no longer works for us, we can come from our heart more easily and embrace the power of The Magician (the olive bottle, No.15). The Magician knows how to use his power and but tempers it with heart energy. It’s impossible to manifest anything from apathy. Love, desire and emotional energy are the fuel of creation.

In this time of global turmoil, olive offers hope and reminds us that the solution never comes through the use of ego power but rather through strength tempered with compassion and wisdom. Above all, solutions come most quickly when we remember that we are all part of the same human family. If you combine that with the power of magenta, then heavenly assistance is added as well as the reminder that we are all children of the divine. Together, we can create miracles!

Living the Gateway
Moira Bush

Juno

As I come out of a deep dark night of the soul experience I find myself contemplating my future. We know that 2007 is a Gateway year and the ending of cycles, bringing with it much change and many challenges. Practitioners coming out of the turmoil being experienced - most of it financial - have asked: “What do we do now?” Attendance at fairs has dwindled and The Secret’s formula does not seem to be working for many. Some of my clients have been contemplating the idea of returning to part-time work in previous professions as a means of income. I thought about the high level of skill and training these therapists have and their strong sense of selfless service to humanity and wondered what the Gateway was trying to tell us.

In Kindred Spirit magazine, I came across an advertisement placed by Caroline Myss for a one day seminar in London. An extract: “Many of the great mystics such as St Bridget and St Francis lived with one foot on the earth and the other in the cosmos, channelling grace to a world in need through the power of their souls, some of them without ever leaving their monasteries. In our times, a new call is in motion – the call to be a ‘mystic without a monastery’. Rather than withdrawing from society, the contemporary mystic is active, has a family or a partner as well as a profession, and, simultaneously responds in service to the world.”

This resonated with me as I had begun to integrate my own recent experiences and concluded it was not what I did, but who I Am. Is that what the Gateway is teaching me? If so, that means I can work anywhere, do anything and none of it is important, except that I am happy with the ‘me’ inside. It also implies that there are no fears about the future, just a sense of freedom to be, and in the beingness, freedom to express through the heart the essence of myself.

I feel that we are being offered a glimpse of what is waiting for us through this Gateway. Yes, it means change and perhaps changing direction, working differently, so that your special talents can be expressed when needed – and just maybe the place this happens is not what you had in mind. But if you allow your sense of adventure to return the changes could actually be fun and prove to be perfect in time, as always. I also think the Gateway is telling us to move beyond our limitations, move through them consciously as spiritual adults, fully grounded and unconditional. If you feel the need for support at this time, I suggest a soak in bottle 36 (The Gateway), and if your energy is low, Mars, bottle 9. Essences to support you are Pink Angel and Dolphin.

Earth Wisdom – Bottle G5
Jan Hughes-Madden

Earth Wisdom

I feel so privileged to have the Colourworks system as a big part of how I live my life today. When I came upon this system in October 2005 I had a business that was very successful but which felt very incongruent with how I wanted to live my life. I was also in a marriage that was hugely challenging and not very supportive. Since training with this system I have been able to change what I do for a living and now only work in the holistic field as a Colourworks Teacher and Therapist among other things. I am also no longer in the marriage and have given myself at least a year without a relationship in order to focus on my own growth. So far so good.

What has been surfacing for me at the moment is fear around my finances, which is driven by my fear of being all I can be. I was drawn to bathe in bottle G5 EARTH WISDOM.

Whilst in the bath I felt so totally held and supported I didn’t want to get out. It was as if Gaia had put her arms around me not just to nurture me but also to remind me of the beauty and the power that I hold within me, which can be accessed at all times, under any circumstances. It asked me to be brave and shine my light. The copper in the base of the bottle contains the balance of all the primary colours, red, yellow and blue, allowing me to transcend the fear and use my intellect (yellow), feel protected enough to move forward and speak my truth (blue) and have the energy and the passion to do so (red). The gold in the top of the bottle reminds me to add love into this mix, to follow my heart and to always come from a place of love not judgement or fear. It also asks me to transform myself as base metal is transformed into gold, from a person living a third dimension existence into a lightworker.

The journey is ongoing and so far the most challenging in my life to date, but it is a journey that I am consciously choosing and glad to be undertaking. I am supported and uplifted by Colourworks and so happy to be a part of this wonderful system.

Birthing of a Soul
Nicky Von Benecke

Nicky Von Benecke

Written after bathing in bottle 21 (gold/yellow)

There is a shift and change that happens within me with each bottle that I use, just as if one were giving birth - sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is excruciatingly painful and confusing... but in the end there is this beautiful soul lying in your arms and every inch of the battle was worth it. In some cases it is extreme exhilaration from the second you see that new born soul and in some cases one goes through "the blues" - just like with the bottles. When we have it all we wonder how can little old me be allowed all this magic, all this healing, all this enchantment... and so the exhilaration in the lessons take a while longer to kick in. The glory and wonder of that new born soul which is you! It is the connection to your soul and to God's love. When the healing has taken place, the magic can begin....When the tornados within you have come to rest, a new wind blows - a gentle calming breeze which takes you to paradise.

There is a deep knowing of something that exists around me right now which is far greater than me as I know myself to be, yet a knowing and remembering that we have this power - this huge, gigantic power of Love that all starts...where? With loving ourselves, of course, because the power and the wisdom and the love and the light lie within us, so if we don't truly love ourselves then that light cannot shine on others, that power and wisdom cannot be accessed and used and that love cannot be expressed to others...

I wish to hold on to this peace within for all eternity yet I know that I have so much still to learn and so much within that I need to heal and so I am prepared to go through the next tornado and the next if necessary for each one brings a gift to me, a lesson and with each one the winds get easier to battle as my soul becomes whole once again. The gifts of knowing who you really are and where you came from, of knowing that you are never alone and always guided with absolute love, the gifts of being able to create a heaven on earth, the gifts of peace...are truly worth the battle.

Metatronic Healing in Scotland
June Moore

Metatron

When Moira first emailed me about this “new healing system” I knew immediately I had to experience it. It was the same sensation I had when I first saw the Colourworks bottles… INSTANT RECOGNITION! Many of my students and friends felt the same way and without knowing anything about this healing, they wanted sessions right away. We were ready for Metatronic! We felt our energy work had been changing for a while as if in preparation for this new vibration.

Moira has been to Scotland three times to deliver our clinics and has made huge shifts in this area for which I thank her immensely. August was the first clinic and when she arrived I had developed bursitis in my elbow, which was swollen and filled with poison. I had a Metatronic session that evening and within 10 minutes the swelling went down. It was amazing energy, and I could feel the love, support and healing surround me during and after. Here is some feedback from others who have experienced the power of Metatronic HealingTM:

“Having cleared past life trauma, I have been able to see and feel things that I had denied myself in the past. I have a far better insight to myself and the world we live in today.”

“When the session was over, I felt fantastic, I literally felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. The Metatronic essences are also really beautiful. I don’t think there are words that could really do Metatronic Healing justice.”

“A personal and intimate experience which heals your physical body, emotions, feelings and more. It goes to the core of underlying issues which we allow to grow within us, but which no longer serve our greatest purpose.”

Metatronic and Colourworks – individually powerful and together they are amazing! Now we've experienced Pippa's wonderful workshop here, Scotland is ready to move!

Coming Down to Earth – Astrology for the Coming Months by Amanda Bradbury
Amanda Bradbury

Amanda Bradbury

Autumn is a time of gathering in our energy and re-focusing on our heartfelt desires and ambitions. In the UK the glorious autumn weather and unusual amount of sun we have experienced in September and October reflects the light and peace on an energetic level.

For the third and last time Pluto passed over the galactic centre at 26 degrees 56 minutes on 27 October, helping to evolve consciousness on a collective level and giving people an opportunity to see the truth. Then Jupiter and Pluto meet in upbeat Sagittarius in the second week of December. This brings a celebratory mood and could represent significant shifts or gains for those able to capitalise on this dynamic energy. It does have a feeling of one last party before the bubble bursts however and could connect to the housing markets.

Saturn plummeted down to earth at the beginning of September for a two-year stay in Virgo. We may become aware of our failings or where we have allowed outside influences to hold us back from achieving our purpose and we also need to watch out for the inner critic. This placement reminds me of the animal totem of the mouse in the shamanic tradition, which is about scrutiny and seeing situations for what they are. This is also about purity of approach and refining and improving what we do.

Pluto begins its journey through Capricorn on 26 January 2008 and will be there until 2023. All the issues that became apparent while Pluto travelled through truthful Sagittarius need be dealt with now it moves into serious Capricorn. Organisations, governments and structures of all kinds will need to be overhauled and put on a more stable, workable footing. The heavyweight planets, Saturn and Pluto, have both moved from a fire to an earth sign now and the emphasis shifts from slightly empty enthusiasm to getting real. These are very business like placements. Substance is needed and one can’t get away with anything less. The essence of Pluto’s journey through Capricorn is about mastery on all levels.

Colour Basics for Kids
Clara Apollo

Inspired by Colourworks teacher training and experience with educating teenagers, I was interested in creating a programme which could be helpful for 10-16yr olds. Discussions with Moira Bush uncovered a Kids Basics manual she had produced a couple of years earlier which has now been added to and updated. The content of the course includes an introduction to basic colour theory, guided meditations, simple colour bottle readings, animal and human chakras and teaching a chakra balancing healing treatment using Colourworks bottles and/or crystals. This is covered in two three hours sessions over two consecutive days, but would ideally be longer. The ages of participants so far have been between 9 and 15, with two students being lads.

The aim is to give young people positive self awareness and the confidence to offer simple colour readings and healing treatments to themselves, friends, family and pets. It has amazed me the level of understanding these children have - they just seem to ‘get’ what the language of colour is all about. They bring curiosity with their coloured pencils, letting the colours flow through their hand movements on to the paper.

In one exercise a colour bottle was chosen by each participant and placed on the table in front of everyone where we could let our eyes soak it in. We then talked about how the colour made us feel or what it reminded us of. To begin with the red really opened the discussions well, as they all had an experience to share, and were speaking about the positives. It was only when ‘danger’ was mentioned that they began to see that another side could be revealed. Their combined experiences around the red were mainly of warmth and cosyness, representing their feelings of safety and security. We also talked about digestion when at the yellow solar plexus level and how we process not only food but information...much food for thought. The phrase ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ was offered by one...wow!

The connection between foods and colour choices opened a whole other world of possibilities (especially when one considers the information given to this age group about nutrition). Ingesting a particular coloured food is a very powerful message to the body. The group were all inspired to make dishes to include all the colours for a colour-balanced meal - blue being rather a challenge! One girl brought in a photo of the fruit salad she had made using strawberries, oranges, pears and apples, green and purple grapes, blueberries and blackberries, all soaked in orange juice - gorgeous!

I believe this work to be deeply helpful and reassuring for this age group when all around them is confusion, peer pressure and varying degrees of guidance. To bring them in touch with their own intuition, and to give them permission to trust who they really are is an enormous gift from Colourworks.

The girls really took to the chakra balancing healing treatments and practiced on their mothers…

“Clara's post cards are the most wonderful addition to the Colourworks range as just looking at them gives one the same energy as looking at the bottles. Their other-worldly beauty feels like underwater scenes - so dealing directly with what sits in the subconscious and finding the jewels in there. Breathtaking! Thank you Clara.” -Melissie Jolly

Angelic Manifestation

Moira stayed on after the Teachers course in Slovenia to present a one day course on Numerology readings using Colourworks system and a day with Angels. The Angels that turned up for the workshop were the Metatronic Angels and an amazing process unfolded as they taught the group how to manifest. They answered questions around why 'The Secret' and 'Law of Attraction' formulas have not been working for some. Moira will be sharing more information about this in the next newsletter.

Colourworks in Australia

We are delighted to welcome Anne Gill as a distributor for Colourworks in Australia. Anne recently completed Colour 1 and 2 with Erica Connolly in England and will be supplying bottles to Australia. She is going to undertake her Teacher training with Erica in 2008 and will then be able to offer Colour 1 and 2 workshops there.

Destiny vs Free Will, Dr David Hamilton
Book Review by Moira Bush

Destiny

David’s first book "It’s the Thought that Counts" offers great insights on the link between science and spirit, energy and matter. In his second book, David takes his thoughts deeper by exploring the idea that there is a destiny or fate for us, but somehow within this we still have free will. Or do we? I loved his analogy of a river and the different currents available to us, the river being our destiny, the currents we choose to ride on free will. He had me thinking about my own past and the rocks I chose to encounter in my currents and whether that was a necessary part of my life experience – or was I destined to get bruised on the rocks? David also covers the Law of Attraction in this book. With The Secret currently receiving much acclaim, I was very interested to read David’s views on this subject. He makes this topic easy to understand and his Nine Principles of Attraction – using your free will – spoke directly to my heart and that, after all, is where manifestation comes from. David challenges you to Be The Miracle, not wait for one to happen to you. I highly recommend this book, as it is not only a good read but a fabulous reference book and very empowering.
