NEWSLETTER March 2006, Issue No. 6
In this issue read about:
Many of you will have been aware of the information from Pat Angove about the 'big shift' which happened on March 11th, when new energies were brought through to be anchored into the Earth. Here's a short summary from Pat:
"I can only describe the energy of this shift as an energy of opportunity, which will free us up to explore and make decisions based on what our heart wants and not what our head logically thinks. For example, if you have been struggling with a problem and there seems to be more than one answer but none of it is happening, after 11th March you will be able to follow your heart and do what you truly want to do about it rather than try to sort a logical way of doing it. The energy on the planet will be more malleable and you will find yourself much more able to create that which you want (so make sure you know what you want no matter how crazy it may seem). Rather than trying to wade through treacle, we will be able to speed ahead so put your seat belt on. In order to prepare for this event, start listening to your heart and be led by your intuition, stop trying to control your life and those in your life and do the things which make your heart sing. Yes, we must become more like children and play, but this is what this energy will support".
I have a personal story to tell of how Colourworks played a part in all this. One night, not long after completing my Colourworks Teacher training, I placed bottle 34 (the whale bottle) and the Water essence beside my bed. During the night I received information that I needed to go to Sierra Nevada. I didn't have a clue where Sierra Nevada was, but shortly after receiving the information, I picked up a book my husband had brought home about Andalucia, where we had talked about going on holiday a few months from then. There, of course, were the words Sierra Nevada - a mountain range very near Granada where we were planning to visit.
Over the next few months we worked out an itinerary for our holiday and I convinced my husband to spend a night in the Sierra Nevada mountains. A few days before I was due to leave for Andalucia, I received the email from Pat telling of the importance of performing a short ritual to anchor new energies into the Earth on 11th March. She outlined what Gaia had requested of us: that we find running water if possible, and bring the new energies through our bodies, into the earth, and into the water. I then realised where I would be on that day - it was the day we were due to be in the Sierra Nevada mountains - and felt deeply excited that I would be able to anchor the energies in a part of the world I would never usually be in. Perhaps I had been called specifically to anchor them there!
When we arrived there, we took a short walk and I mentioned to my husband that I needed to find a source of water to perform the ritual the next day, March 11. No sooner had I spoken than we heard the sounds of gushing water, looked down a steep ravine beside the road we were walking on, and saw a fast-flowing stream. There was my water. Still, I wasn't sure how I would reach it, as the rocks on the roadside were very steep and jagged. As we kept walking, we realised that just across the road there was easy access to the stream.
So the next morning I went to the stream and felt the energies flow through me into our beloved Earth and the beautiful mountain stream. I felt so deeply honoured to be there, and to be playing a part in this incredible planetary evolution we are undergoing. I also marvelled at the part that Colourworks had to play in this sequence of events - the Whale and Water bottles led me to a mountain stream! This system is so utterly connected to the transformation we are going through. It is a joy and a privilege to be working and teaching with it.
Blessings to you for bright and colourful days

Slim and Relax -
Interview with Molly Ann Fairley by Erica Connolly
It's spring time and our thoughts are beginning to turn to warmer days. For many people, this is an ideal time to shed unwanted weight which has built up over the winter months. As anyone who has tried slimming will know however, it's not always easy.
Molly Ann Fairley is a clairvoyant, psychic and medium who uses a unique method to heal, release and clear issues which are hindering people in their attempts at weight loss. With an extensive background in hypnotherapy, meditation, relaxation techniques and yoga, Molly has developed a fast and effective way of getting to the roots of why people hold on to weight they genuinely believe they want to get rid of.
Molly is a dynamic, straight-talking East Ender with a presence much larger than her petite frame would suggest. Over lunch on a cold February day in London I found out more about this fascinating woman and her methods.
Molly works with the 'story' each person brings, and quickly establishes the key situation or episode which has triggered the unhelpful attitudes and feelings about weight and food. She does this by connecting with the spiritual guides of the person and using her own depth of experience. Molly sees so many people who are frightened and lost and don't know what to do. Many are exhausted with the continual struggle with weight. Molly believes that reaching the underlying cause of the issues will lead to healing. Once she identifies the underlying patterning, she receives information either in images, words or feelings. She then uses her third eye to "pull it out" and pass it on to her client.
She will typically work with a client once a week for anywhere between 2-10 sessions, with the average number of sessions being four. In this time she finds her clients move forward significantly - in her own words, she "sees results."
I asked Molly what drew her to work specifically with weight issues and she stated simply that she was guided by spirit and that this is what she came in to do in this lifetime. She watched her own mother and sister struggle and suffer with weight issues so it was something she was aware of from childhood. She also had a past life in a concentration camp where she, personally, had been looked after, but where she watched all her friends starving to death, which, naturally, produced huge amounts of guilt. In this lifetime she has come to clear that.
When I asked Molly why so many women in particular have issues about weight and food she was clear that the media and our society has much to answer for. She also believes that past lives and conditioning are a big part of the situation. She finds that in many cases she ends up working through the client's mother's issues in a session as they have become inextricably bound up in the client's own issues. The result is often that the mother goes through big changes and also loses weight.
Molly works with all sorts of issues, not just weight. She asked me if I would like to experience her way of working - and how could I resist?!
Molly soon identified - without any prompting from me - an issue which has been bothering me of late regarding my work. As the conversation progressed several other issues arose and each time she quickly and easily worked with my spiritual guides to identify why I was holding particular beliefs. By far the majority related to past lives, and as she worked to clear them, I felt all sorts of energy shifts happening in my body and my aura. Sometimes it was necessary for Molly to speak it out - so that I could hear and respond to what was happening. At other times it happened just through feeling - which for me was generally a slightly dizzy sensation, with energy round my head and sometimes my third eye. One of the past lives brought up strong emotions and feelings of nausea, fear and dread - it was particularly gruesome and not at all pleasant to re-experience. Molly asked for it to be shifted and cleared quickly, however, and I soon felt it releasing.
As the afternoon progressed we brought Colourworks into the equation - Molly has had an incredible experience with bottle 12 (Victim/Sacrifice) so knows the power of this system. Together we would identify an issue - for me, for her or for someone else - and between us we would get information about colours and therefore bottles that could be used to work hand in hand with Molly's clearing techniques.
Molly's clear-cut, no-nonsense approach and her absolute belief in the work she does means she gets results. She says: "It doesn't matter what the person brings in the door, I'll get it fixed." Her hypnotherapy background helps her read people and she watches them very carefully. Molly finds people don't hide things from her - she has no pattern of resistance in herself, and this is mirrored in the people she meets.
And Molly's advice to people with issues around weight? "See someone. Start talking about it. Stop delaying doing something about it. Admit to yourself the seriousness of it - stand in front of a mirror in your underwear and really look at yourself. Be willing to go through the emotions of how bad you feel about your body."
I would highly recommend the 'Molly experience' to anyone with issues to clear, about anything - not just weight. Be prepared though - this is fast and powerful and you really do need to be ready to take the journey!
Molly is available for one-to-one sessions either in person or over
the phone and also works with groups. She has two seminars coming
up in Cornwall: 'A Day of Deep Healing' on Saturday 22 April and
'Clearing with Tarot' on Sunday 23 April. For further information
on these workshops please contact Rita Westlake on 01208-850204

She has produced a CD package which she calls a 'Slimming Journey',
to support and guide people through weight loss. The CDs includes
talks, demonstrations, deep relaxation, meditations, success stories,
slimming resolves and spiritual ceremonies. Other CDs in her range
include: 'Eliminate Comfort Eating'; 'Dissolve Obesity' 'Say No

Melissie Jolly Column: Bottle 22
Bottle 22 ("Submission and Caution" - Deep Magenta/Pale Magenta) is the one that reminds us that we are healers and I have always known that it is also the one that helps us to forgive God, as we all hold that "God got us into this mess in the first place." But all of that was very far from my mind the day it seemed like a good idea to bath in bottle 22 so...
What started as a fairly childish idea became one of the most life-changing experiences I have ever had. The childish idea was to put bottle 22 in my bath to make the foam pink. The dark colours can colour bath foam and it is such fun, (see, really childish...). So, lying in my bath enjoying the pink foam, a really soft baby pink foam, I am suddenly yanked out of my reverie by a voice that says loudly in my ear: "When you forgive God you will find that you are not guilty!" I am not a hearer of voices or a seer of visions so this was completely unexpected. In fact it is a miracle I did not drown.
To get out of the bath was a mission as I was feeling very shaky and odd. Feeling pretty much like hell, tired and confused, I took to my bed. Now here is the miracle. The next day I was walking on air because what filtered through into my cells was the absolute truth that if you are not guilty you do not deserve punishment. If you are not guilty, you no longer have to collude with whatever sets you up to feel punished. In other words, you can stop the struggle. Every moment of my life, up to that point, had felt like a struggle. And suddenly it was done.
Now, in my head and with my intellect I have known and even taught that guilt is a misunderstanding. That you were never bigger than God and so could not possibly have made the mistake that you felt guilty about. But of course you teach what you most need to learn. It was clearly a big lesson for me and now I have finally got it - not in my head, but in the cells of my body.
The Course in Miracles has said all along that we are innately innocent and that God has never made anything that is not part of itself and therefore we are all of that and therefore INNOCENT. Yet we struggle. Now there is the easiest way out. Bath in bottle 22. This might sound odd but I am sure that it will resonate with you. I doubt and question what I do ongoingly and so to have this experience was such a big thing and such a gift. I was still in the back of my head/heart saying "If Colour works, why the ongoing struggle?" Well it absolutely works in as much as we allow it to work. And we can only allow as much as we feel we deserve. And if in our beingness we still feel guilty, most of what we allow is punishment. Louise Hay says that physical pain is guilt looking for punishment. Well all pain - emotional, physical, financial - every bit of discomfort, is a hidden guilt looking for punishment. God is not guilty and as you are part of God you are not guilty, and the more you can let that in the more your life will flow. And I say that with complete conviction.
With love
Melissie
Planetary
Influences - Astrology for March - June 2006 by Amanda Bradbury
This period of 2006 is characterised by an opposition between Saturn in Leo and Chiron in Aquarius. This is a time to break old patterns and re-claim our divine essence. It's about shifting vibration and perhaps coming to terms with certain lessons.
Mercury, planet of communication, has been retrograde in watery Pisces between March 2nd and 25th, bringing confusion along with heightened sensitivity.
Two eclipses make March a powerful month. On the 14th the lunar eclipse at 24 degrees Pisces drew attention to the understanding that matter and spirit are not separate. Pluto's role in this eclipse has been to have a stripping away effect in terms of our identity and emotional patterns.
The link between expansive Jupiter and boundless Neptune is an ongoing theme during 2006 and these planets connected for the second time on the 16th. This is wonderfully exciting energy, but we need to keep our feet on the ground to avoid bursting the bubble of our illusions. Once we get real, then anything is possible.
The Sun's move into Aries marks the equinox on the 20th, though the real shift happens on the 21st. The time around any equinox or solstice represents a spiritual gateway. This year the eclipses either side of the equinox increase the intensity, so it can be thought of as an energetic shift rather like shuffling a deck of cards. It's a time to be non-judgemental and focus on service and the life we are creating for ourselves.
The solar eclipse on 29 March in Aries suggests renewed energy while we need to be aware of the shadow Aries energy to be impulsive and impatient. Pluto stops still in the sky just minutes before this eclipse, close to the galactic centre, or centre of our galaxy, transforming the essence of our collective being.
April brings a gentler, more watery feel with Venus in Pisces from the 6th and Mars in Cancer from the 14th. The heightened energy of the Libra Full Moon on the 13th presents an opportunity to consciously bring balance and peace into relationships.
There's plenty of enthusiasm, energy and action in early May as Mars, Jupiter and Uranus make a creative connection, pushing us to dare to be different. The flowing link between Jupiter and Uranus is an on-going feature of 2006 and is about opening to the hidden, the alternative and the esoteric. The Scorpio Full Moon on 13 May is a chance to release what we no longer need in order to plant our seeds on fertile ground. This is Wesak, the Buddha Moon, when we leave behind the emotional turmoil of the Moon in Scorpio, draw on inner richness and come to the peace of the Sun in Taurus.
Mars, planet of energy and drive, romps through Leo during June, but comes up against certain blocks on the 18th. There's energy to push ahead at this time, but we need to stay balanced to benefit from the spiritual gateway that comes with the solstice on the 21st.

Moira Bush
Column: What's in a Name
On 15 February 2006 I legally changed my surname back to my birth name. It is something I have wanted to do for some time as my previous married surname did not resonate with me. To find out why, I investigated the meaning of numerology in my name. Moira Torchio resonates with No. 9, the number of completion. Moira Bush resonates with No. 7, the spiritual number.
I studied various books on numbers and each time I read about life lessons for either 7 or 9, I was more drawn to 7's messages - they just made more sense to me. My research led me to a South African based website www.thelightweaver.co.za where channelling from Lord Kuthumi is given through Michelle Eloff.
Lord Kuthumi says that every single letter of the alphabet vibrates to a specific number (numerology) and their vibrations make up the sacred geometric formation of our world. As each letter is put together it forms a symphony. By changing just one letter the feeling around the name will change as the vibration is changed.
Lord Kuthumi says "This vibration alters your life path, so changing your name changes your life path. When most women get married and change their names, they experience many shifts and changes within their lives on many levels. The universal sound held by the name causes a different vibration which causes a different magnetic frequency to be manifested, which is why a person's name is so sacred. This is also why it was originally said in the Holy Teachings 'do not use the Lord's name in vain…' because it holds a vibration, and if the energy of anybody's name is abused, it brings their energy down and is seen as disregarding the sacredness of the person's being. Everytime you use a person's name, any of their names, you awaken their identity on all levels and respect must be shown."
Our birth names are called Physical Names, including any pet names we might have. They hold the vibration to support the learning of lessons. Sometimes, but not always, our Physical Name will sound similar to our Soul Name. Our Soul Name allows us to move through specific initiations. Our Star Name - nowadays adopted by many as their Physical Name - is the merging with the Star aspects of self, the aspects of self that are part of the Universal cosmic growth, the technological side of the Universe. To make things more interesting we started off with a Spirit Name - the name we take on first to marry one's Spirit energy to the Soul and that to the Ego.
I know that from a practical point of view Torchio was difficult
to pronounce, remember and spell, but I can't get over the timing
of things…..if you add the numbers of the date I changed my name
on it is also a 7!
Colour
3 Courses Offered in England and Scotland
The Colour 3 course is open to both therapists
(students of Colour 1 or 2) and teachers. It will focus on the planetary
bottles in the system and will show us how to introduce astrology
and numerology into our colour work and readings. Each person attending
the course will have their birth chart compiled by UK Astrology
expert Amanda Bradbury, who is co-teaching the course with Melissie
Jolly.
Amanda writes: "I'm deeply honoured to be co-facilitating Colour 3 with Melissie. My aim is to help people gain a deeper understanding about the layers of meaning contained within Colourworks and to share what a wonderful tool astrology can be for us to navigate our way on our soul's journey."
Melissie will teach us how to conduct readings using numerology. This will help us find bottles that connects to our vibrations, for example my Birth Name number is 7, so the turquiose bottle very important to me, as is 34 which makes the number 7. I also think it links us with the specific colour ray we work with, but we can find out more about this on the course!
Colour 3 is going to be held in South Africa during September this year, but not everyone can go, hence the decision to do a shorter version of it in the UK now. The course will enable students to get a closer connection to each bottle and to relate to them on another level.
Feature
Colour: Yellow By Erica Connolly
With spring about to arrive the colour we've chosen for this issue is yellow. The main yellow Colourworks bottle is No. 1, The Sun, and don't we all need some of that after the long winter!
Yellow is the colour of the solar plexus - the centre where we hold our confidence and self-esteem - the power centre of our being.
It relates to joy, happiness and sunshine, and asks our inner child to come out and play and have fun. It also connects with the intellect and wisdom. The flip side of yellow is that it is where we hold stress, fear and confusion and where we forget to have fun and enjoy life. In the physical body it relates to the gall bladder, liver and kidneys. With spring being a good time to rid the body of toxins, a dose of yellow could be just the tonic you need.
If you're longing for some sunshine and light, treat yourself to one of the gorgeous yellow bottles from the Colourworks range:

Colourworks
on Sky TV By Rita Westlake
When fellow Colourworks teacher Sue Russell and I held a stall at the Health and Mystic Fayre in Falmouth this February it was a great surprise to find that Sky TV were attending - especially as this was the first time this Fayre had been run.
On the second day of the Fayre, a presenter and camera crew came to visit our stall and asked for some background on the Colourworks system in simplistic terms, to give the viewers a basic understanding and a short introduction to Colourworks. The presenter did this as a question and answer interview with me, then picked a couple of bottles, out of the blue, and asked me what they said about him.....how could I let on to these facts on national TV?!
A few hours later the camera crew returned and asked me to do a one to one with the camera, to explain the system in greater depth. I gave a short history of how the system had been born, what it was made of (no trade secrets given away though!) and I held up a few bottles to emphasise their power. Sue was doing some healing at the time so I pointed out how the bottles can be used with healing and then finished up by telling the story of the birthing of bottle 34, the Whale bottle.
I was still shaking about 40 minutes later - mostly because I was so stunned at my ability to speak fluently about Colourworks for several minutes - did I really know that much off the top of my head? Oh ye of little faith...).
The fact that the media showed such a keen interest in the system speaks volumes - how long before we go on prime time national TV??!
"Colour Works" written by Philippa
Merivale (Pippa)
Reviewed by Moira Bush
Colour Works, the book, has just been launched! There are several
book reviews being written, but not in time for this Newsletter
edition. In the meantime we asked Moira what she thought of the
book, and here is her response:
I was privileged enough to be sent a draft copy of the book to read by Pippa before it went into print. Having worked with the Colourworks System for some time I was eager to see what this book had to teach me. One of the things I know about Melissie and Colourworks is that there are many layers and as I develop my own spirituality, so I discover and learn more and more about this system and colour. It is like a flower that opens a bit, you get to smell the petals and see their colours, then it opens a bit more and you smell and see more and so it goes on. This book, for me, has opened another layer, one so beautiful and so perfect that I am left astounded by the love, power and simplicity of colour.
The style of the book was another surprise as it has been written in dialogue format. As Pippa interviewed Melissie and bathed in the bottles, so she wrote about her discoveries and conversations with Melissie.
This book is a guide to how to bring Heaven to Earth, how we can use Colour as a tool for transformation, how Colour can support each step of our journey as we merge our Higher Self with our Physical Self, our material and our spiritual.
This book is going to take you on a journey of self discovery. I
feel as if I have re-discovered myself through colour - now for
a colour teacher to say that sounds quite daft I am sure! But it
is how the book made me feel. I am sure that there are people who
will talk about this book from an intellectual viewpoint, I can
only again say how it made me feel and wish blessings upon every
person who shares this experience. I am so very grateful that Pippa
took the time and considerable effort to write about a person and
a system that has changed my very existence.
Living in the Heart - Drunvalo Melchizedek
Reviewed by Moira Bush
Being an avid follower of Drunvalo's work with the 'Flower of Life' workshops (Mer-ka-ba Lightbody/Sacred Geometry) I was eager to read this book. Fortunately you do not need to know anything about Drunvalo's previous work to understand this book as he provides a short summary of all his experiences that led to his discovery of how to 'live in the heart'.
Melissie and I had heard about a new higher heart chakra being opened and felt the timing had something to do with the Colourworks new Whale bottle (number 34) being born last year. This bottle is about opening us up to the information of everything that ever was and will be - information held for us by the whales until we are ready to access it ourselves. What I did not know is the significance of its links to 'communication'. Drunvalo starts the book talking about the single language we all spoke before Babylon, how this ties in with the Aborigines' dreamtime and how the Hopi in America can communicate with the Maori in New Zealand without any 'technological' communication.
Drunvalo also gives examples of blind people who can 'see' this and other universes. He talks about the new psychic children and some of the experiments that have been carried out to find out how they communicate. In China, for example, they have identified over one hundred thousand children who were found to be super-psychics and who could 'see' without using their eyes. Special schools have been set up and they receive special training. Some of the experiments mentioned in this book will definitely move your boundaries and perceptions around 'energy'. Also in this book is the mention of the inventions that clear pollution and how simple a process it is, but he also speaks of the resistance by authorities to use them - even with the full backing of the Air Force's experiments.
What I like about Drunvalo is that his scientific explanations back
up his discoveries. He talks about research being carried out by
the Institute of HearthMath in California (connected to Stanford
University): "There has always been a paradox: when a baby is conceived,
the human heart begins to beat before the brain is formed. This
has led doctors to wonder where the intelligence to begin and regulate
the heartbeat is coming from." HeartMath have discovered a brain
within the heart which supports those who for centuries have written
about the 'intelligence of the heart'. Now this is all new to us
in the Western world but the ancient tribes have always known it
and known how to access it. With the help of the knowledge these
tribes have shared with Drunvalo and Sri Yukteswar's wisdom (Yogananda,
who wrote Autobiography of a Yogi, was a disciple of Sri Yukteswar),
he has designed a meditation to take you into that sacred space.
The book comes with its own CD and you can order it from the Amazon
website, www.amazon.co.uk. For further information visit Drunvalo's
