In the ‘About Colourworks’ webpage
we explained how our bodies take in colour from the sun into different
areas called Chakras, which in Sanskrit means ‘wheels of
light’. The diagram on the left shows the old colours starting
from the base: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet
and at the top is magenta. Humans are evolving, we are seeking
a more spiritual way to live, an end to wars, famine and poverty.
As we raise our awareness and try to do something about these
issues (such as giving donations to the tsunami disaster) we are
starting to absorb higher vibrational colours from the sun. For
example, the green at the heart is changing to pink and pale lilac.
Green says ‘I want your space (land)’ but with our
changing attitudes we are more than likely to store pink and lilac
in our heart centres – pink is unconditional love and lilac
is our connection to our spirituality where we begin to forgive,
share and help others. The new colours are now present in most
people’s bodies but therapists still work with the original
colours to clear old issues. Most clients end up with a combination
of old and new colour bottles during a treatment. The new colours
are called transitional colours because even they are evolving
and we know that ultimately all our chakras will be rainbows –
white light that holds all the colours.
To learn how to work with these colours and help people balance
their chakras, we recommend the Colour 1 workshop. You do not
need any experience to register for the 2 day course.
